Rabindranath Tagore Nagar or just R. T. Nagar is a zone in Bangalore, India. It is arranged in the northern piece of the city. It is named after Rabindranath Tagore. It is a piece of the Bangalore North Lok Sabha Constituency and the Hebbal Assembly Constituency. R.T Nagar has two squares, Block I and Block II. It has turned out to be exceptionally prevalent after the development of the new air terminal at Devanahalli (Kempegowda International Airport)
Initially a small format worked by Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) in the 1970s and was encompassed by towns like Gangenhalli on the west, the military grounds on the east, Matadahalli by south and parts of Hebbal town by north. Be that as it may, closeness to other prominent territories like Sadashivnagar and Dollar's state (SanjayNagar) prompted fast improvement of RT Nagar. Likewise setting up of a Head post office on RT Nagar primary street gave facilitate driving force to the development of RT Nagar.
