Karnataka Rajyotsava

The state of Karnataka in India celebrates its Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1. Back on November 1 of 1956, all Kannada language-speaking regions of South India were merged to form one state called Karnataka. At NewAge Best Schools in Bangalore, Rajyotsava is celebrated with some wonderful patriotic performances from our children.

Kanakadasa Jayanti

Kanakadasa Jayanthi is celebrated each year by Karnataka people in general. The day is celebrated as a commemoration to their great poet, saint, philosopher, composer and musician. At NewAge, Kanakadasa Jayanthi is celebrated with some wonderful recitations from our children.

Navaratri Event's

Navaratri is celebrated for 9 days, over the course of these nine days, different incarnations of Goddess Durga are worshipped. It is believed that Goddess Durga manifests in three major three forms, Mahasaraswati, Mahalakshmi, and Mahakali who further manifested in three more forms each. At NewAge, Navaratri is celebrated with much grandeur and festivities.

Science Day

Celebrated every 10 November, World Science Day for Peace and Development highlights the important role of science in society and the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. It also underlines the importance and relevance of science in our daily lives.
At NewAge, we organise Science Quiz competitions and organize Science programs. Simultaneously, we conduct small class exhibition of science projects, models, charts, and demonstrations.

Cook Without Fire

Through this activity the students learnt the spirit of teamwork, culinary skills, appreciating the hard work put into cooking. The aim of the activity was also to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. At NewAge, we believe that learning to cook will help children understand world cultures, customs and flavors. The students enjoyed the day by enthusiastically taking part in this fun learning event.
